Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, login credentials, project descriptions, screenshots, app metadata, and support requests. We also process subscription and account status information required to operate paid features.

We may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, and product usage events that help us secure, debug, and improve the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and maintain StorePilot, authenticate users, generate requested AI output, process billing access, prevent abuse, respond to support inquiries, and improve product quality and reliability.

We may also use limited operational data to investigate outages, diagnose failures, and comply with legal obligations.

Payments and Third Parties

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for subscriptions purchased through our checkout. Paddle may collect billing details, payment method information, applicable tax information, and transaction records subject to its own privacy and compliance obligations.

We may also rely on infrastructure, analytics, storage, AI, and email service providers that process data on our behalf to host the product and deliver requested features.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the platform, when necessary to complete transactions you request, when required by law, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and services.

If our business is reorganized, merged, or sold, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

Retention and Security

We retain account, billing, and usage records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Uploaded project content may remain available until deleted by you or removed under our retention policies.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, as well as rights to data portability or objection. We will consider and respond to requests as required by applicable law.

To make a privacy request, contact [email protected] from the email associated with your account.

Children's Privacy and Updates

StorePilot is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information to us unlawfully, contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last updated date and apply the new version going forward.

Self-serve paths

Legal and billing pages should still lead back into the operating knowledge surface.

If the question is broader than a policy clause or billing event, continue through these guided paths before escalating to support.
